Powering progress since 1903
A Legacy Built in Steel
From Continental Boiler and Sheet Iron Works to today’s Continental Fabricators and Erectors, our work has served the backbone of global industry.
More Than 120 Years of Fabrication
Our boilers, pressure vessels, and custom fabrications have powered ships and locomotives, milled steel and paper, generated steam, processed chemicals, refined crude oil, and supported clean-energy production.
Second-Oldest Operational ASME “U” Stamp
Continental was an early adopter of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Our ASME “U” Stamp, number 27, is believed to be the second-oldest still in operation in the world.
A Proud Union Shop
For more than 70 years, we have partnered with Local 27 of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers and remain proud to support skilled middle-class careers in St. Louis.
